Begin includes a rich set of powerful tools such as instant recovery, data security and clone management with the latest virtualization technology. Because Begin runs independently of Windows, it can provide such features whenever and wherever you need it, even if Windows is not available. In the Begin environment, it is like having several computers in one. You can do your entertainment in one "computer" and do the common work in another for a more secure, manageable experience.

Begin can work in 2 modes: Realtime and Offline.

During installation, Begin will automatically check hardware information and determine which mode to use. The Realtime mode is for mainstream desktops with leverages hardware virtualization technology, which offers full power of the entire Begin feature.

The Offline mode is for those desktop whose hardware is a little older and don't support all the latest virtualization technology. In Offline mode, you can still boot to Begin and enjoy several features of Begin.

Begin combines a host system with a rich set of tools as well as several drivers and services in the guest Windows system. Compared to it's powerful feature, the installation process is easier than you might think.

Begin will make the existing Windows under control automatically. No need to re-install software, no extra configuration, all things in Windows system remains after the installation. All you need is following the installation instruction and some extra disk space.

Removing Begin is also an easy thing by just only one click. You can choose to keep the Begin information data for future re-install or upgrade Begin. Or just clean everything totally. Similarly, nothing will be affected in Windows. All you need is to reboot your system once.

Generally speaking, Begin will check and recognize hardware and software configuration automatically. But it also provides a flexible way for you to do some configurations at the first reboot after installation.

Begin is self-adapted by lots of hardware and software systems. It will check the hardware and system automatically, and make the best choice.

Begin works in Realtime mode for most mainstream desktop hardware with full powerful feature. Otherwise it will work in Offline mode for some older desktops with partial feature.

Begin is also suitable for most Windows systems, not only for Windows XP, but also for Windows 2003 server and Windows Vista.

Begin greatly improves the performance on network, disk and video in the guest Windows system in the virtual machine. For most case, the performance decreasing is very limited compared with the native system. It's hard for a user to distinguish whether Windows is running on Begin or on the native hardware.

Instant Recovery
Begin is able to recover your Windows system to a brand new one in only 1 second. When your Windows system is corrupted by the viruses or spyware or cannot boot anyway, Begin will help you restore your system to a healthy one easily.

Data Security
Begin can encrypt all your data saved in your disk. No data can be reviewed without the correct password even if someone get the disk. It prevents sensitive information disclosure when you have to put your laptop in an unsafe place during a travel. Meanwhile, it is totally transparent which means it doesn't take any effect with your normal work in Windows.

Multiple System
Begin can generate multiple isolated Windows from a single one. You don't need to install and manage several Windows system separately. TurboGate ToolKit has two components: HTools and GTools.

In the Xen architecture, Xen hypervisor runs on the hardware, one host (also called Dom0) runs as the privileged operating system on top of the hypervisor. One or multiple guest (also called DomU) run on the hypervisor in the control of the hypervisor and host.

HTools is installed in host system (e.g. Redhat Enterprise Linux 5). GTools is installed in guest system (e.g. Windows).
